To Prestige or not to Prestige...

Post  GluteousMax on Wed Jan 25, 2012 2:03 am

I'm 4th prestige and I kind of don't feel like prestiging. I don't need any more classes, the 2hr XP boost is pointless if you don't prestige, and so is the early weapon unlock. I just feel like getting every perk pro so that when I get specialist bonus, I rape even more Twisted Evil plus I could get all gold guns and look like a bamf. But then again, I hear people flame other people who are "afraid" of prestiging. Any thoughts?

Well for me, I always stop prestiging when I get to the emblem I like the most. So if you really like the 4th prestige emblem, then I would stay there.
But I warn you, that whenever I stop prestiging I always lose interest in the game because I feel like I am accomplishing nothing when I play. Prestiging sucks, but leveling up is what makes the game fun.

Yeah I always contemplate whether I want to prestige again since it's so comfortable having your stuff unlocked, but then you realize that most of the fun comes in playing through levels x(whenever you acquire all the weapons, upgrades, perks etc. you like) to 80. You basically put in grunt work through those early levels to get rewarded with the fun in the middle and the quest to the next prestige.

Yeah I'm in the same dilemma too because i'm third prestige lv 80 and by now i could probably have been close to 5th prestige but i'm trying to get all the riot shield titles and emblems as well as a few more before i prestige again. It fucking sucks using a riot shield but the titles are just sooo cool. Idk what ima do after i get them. I'm kinda starting to like Having all the pro perks. the only one i don't have pro is sit rep and blind eye

So yea basically I decided to keep prestiging. At this rate I will be 10th prestige by the end of april. After that I can get all of my pro perks/gold guns and have loads of fun before the next game comes out. Wish I had known about the dewXp.com so that I could have had some double xp lol
